How does it work?
When you sign up with our program, you are shipped a sticker with a unique ID number on it as well as our toll free number and website address for other drivers to report incidents.  Our call center is at the phone 24 hours a day with live operators to take incident reports.

Why does it work?
Our program works for the same reason that similar programs for commercial vehicles work.  The driver of a commercial vehicle with a "How's My Driving" sticker is held accountable for their driving, and they definitely don't want to be reported for driving recklessly.  Commercial programs that provide a "How's My Driving" service are reporting up to a 50% decrease in traffic accidents just by the use of the program.  The system works because the employees are motivated to be good defensive drivers.  

Why should I believe that this will actually work?
Teenager drivers can benefit from this because it provides an incentive for them to drive properly.  Most teens don't want their parents informed of any bad or dangerous driving they might have done.  Parents can use the reports that they receive to help instruct their teens on what they need to improve as drivers.  Parents are also empowered to use these reports and the fact that driving as a teenager is a privilege to motivate their teens to drive the best they can and give proper attention to their driving.
 

What if some of my teen's schoolmates or others report my teen just "to be mean"?

We respect the anonymity of the people who are willing to report the incidents, so we do not require them to identify themselves; however, we do pass some information on to you that can help you determine if the report could be an attempt to merely get your teen in trouble.  When a call comes in to the call center, the last 5 digits of the originating phone number are recorded with the incident report.  When someone reports through the website we record the IP address of the computer with the incident report.  These partial identifiers are in the report that is sent to you so that you can have some help assessing if the reports are real or fake.  Also, we have taken several measures on our end to decrease the possibility of repeated or fake reports from being made.  We will continue to work on improving our system to minimize the possibility of fake reports from occurring.

How will I be informed of an incident?
You will be emailed the incident report immediately after it is reported, whether it's reported by phone or internet.  You should receive that report within minutes depending on normal internet delays that could happen.

How long does it take to get started?
After signing up, your service will be set up immediately, and your sticker and welcome packet should arrive in the mail within just a few days.

This sounds great, but how much does it really cost?
Our service costs only $120 per year, which is only $10 dollars a month.  That's less than the cost of most traffic ticket fines, not to mention increases on your insurance rates.  We require the first year to be paid in full at the time of registration.  Plus, there is a one time startup fee of $15 to cover the cost of the sticker and shipping it to you as well as setting the service up for you.
